The International Boating and Water Safety Summit is a global networking and education opportunity for anyone involved in boating and water safety.

When and where will the 2022 IBWSS be held?

The International Boating and Water Safety Summit celebrates its 25th anniversary in Washington, D.C. from March 13-16, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Dulles.

How much does it cost to attend IBWSS?

All individuals must register for all-access to sessions and networking opportunities at the International Boating and Water Safety Summit. Cost is $350 USD. Register.

Is IBWSS registration refundable?

An attendee may receive a full registration refund if needed, however travel arrangements (including hotel) are your responsibility to cancel. A request for a refund of registration must be made in writing to outreach@safeboatingcouncil.org.

Am I responsible for my own travel and hotel?

Yes, all attendees (including speakers and sponsors) are responsible for their own travel and hotel. The host hotel provides a discounted rate for IBWSS attendees of $132/per night. Book hotel.

What does the IBWSS registration include?

Access to all sessions and networking opportunities during the conference, including a registration badge.

What are the health and safety protocols?

IBWSS will follow local health and safety guidelines. The Hyatt Regency Dulles requires that unvaccinated guests to please wear a mask. Masks will be available at IBWSS registration desk if needed. Attendees should not come to the event if they feel sick or exhibit symptoms of the illness. Hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the hotel for your use. Do I need to wear a mask?

It is expected that all attendees will wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth at all indoor sessions regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available at registration and throughout the event.

When was IBWSS founded?
