What is the International Boating and Water Safety Summit?

The International Boating and Water Safety Summit is a global networking and education opportunity for anyone involved in boating and water safety.

When and where will the 2025 IBWSS be held?

The 28th annual International Boating and Water Safety Summit will be in Glendale, AZ from April 14-17, 2024 at the Renaissance Phoenix / Glendale Hotel & Spa.

How much does it cost to attend IBWSS?

All individuals must register for all-access to sessions and networking opportunities at the International Boating and Water Safety Summit. The cost is $250 USD per individual until January 1, 2025. Please note, all attendees are responsible for booking their hotel and transportation for the International Boating and Water Safety Summit. Register.

Is IBWSS registration refundable?

An attendee may receive a full registration refund prior to March 30, 2025, however travel arrangements (including hotel) are your responsibility to cancel. A request for a refund of registration must be made in writing to outreach@safeboatingcouncil.org.

Am I responsible for my own travel and hotel?

Yes, all attendees (including speakers and sponsors) are responsible for their own travel and hotel. The host hotel provides a discounted rate for IBWSS attendees. Book hotel.

What does the IBWSS registration include?

Access to all sessions and networking opportunities during the conference, including a registration badge.

What is the attire at IBWSS?
  • Monday Opening Ceremony and Reception: Formal or Business
  • Tuesday Sessions: Casual
  • Wednesday Sessions: Casual
  • Thursday Sessions Casual

When packing your suitcase, include business clothing for the opening ceremony events on Monday, April 14. For the remainder of the conference, attire is casual. If you are participating in an on-water or pool session, please wear appropriate clothing.
