The IBWSS Communication Awards showcases outstanding outreach efforts of organizations, agencies, and groups who advocate for boating and water safety.

Previously the Media Campaign Contest, the IBWSS Communication Awards recognize the creative ways boating and water safety advocates are communicating with the public about safety on and in the water. Winners will be announced at the awards dinner on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa. Apply today for the #IBWSS20 awards! Deadline to enter is March 1, 2020.

Categories: (A) Digital, (B) Giveaways, (C) Print, (D) PSAs and (E) Research. Only one entry per form. Exception: A series may be entered for any category – must include “Series” in the Entry Title. For example, a PSA campaign with multiple videos, audio and print components may be entered as one entry.

Criteria: Entries will be judged on (1) uniqueness and innovation, (2) boating and water safety message and (3) success metric and impact on the target audience. The online entry form requires a summary of the project, target audience and goals, key messages, execution and evaluation. Online entries only – no hard copies accepted.
